The Milwaukee Mental Health Task Force, in partnership with the Black Health Coalition of Wisconsin, Inc., is holding a listening session to learn more about conditions in the Milwaukee County Jail for people living with mental illness. The Listening Session is scheduled for Monday February 27th from 5:30 – 7:30 PM at the Black Health Coalition of Wisconsin, 3020 W. Vliet St.
Representatives of the Mental Health Task Force, as well as Legal Aid Society, American Civil Liberties Union, and Disability Rights Wisconsin will be present to hear from the community to help inform our efforts to improve safety and treatment at the jail.
