Milwaukee Mental Health Task Force January 8th meeting: Briefing on Crisis Line and Crisis Services Redesign
Please join us for the January Mental Health Task Force meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, January 8, from 3 – 5 PM, at Summit Place, 6737 W. Washington St, Milwaukee, in the large conference room on the first floor.
This is a very important meeting you won’t want to miss – it will include an update on the Milwaukee County Crisis Line, as well as a briefing on the report on Crisis Services Redesign released in December, and opportunities for questions. There will also be an opportunity to tour the Impact 211 Call Center.

- Briefing on Milwaukee County Crisis Line and Impact 211, Amy Lorenz, MSSW, LCSW Deputy Administrator, CARS Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Division, John Hyatt, President & CEO IMPACT
- Briefing on Psychiatric Crisis Redesign in Milwaukee County. For the past year, an effort has been underway to look at options to redesign the psychiatric crisis service system in Milwaukee County. We will be briefed on the reports released in December, and recommendations for crisis redesign, and have the opportunity for questions and dialogue. Presenters will include: Ron Henken, President – Wisconsin Policy Forum; Mary Jo Meyers, Director Department of Health and Human Services; Mike Lappen, Administrator Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Division.
